Under the hood of the Dirt Devil Upright Endura Reach is 8 motor amps and 120V motor volts. That offers some great suction power for its price. More importantly, despite its three-stage filtration system, virtually no loss of suction power can be felt. The multi-floor brush roll is especially good at helping suck in the dirt, a feature you’ll find in some of the leading water filtration vacuums.

Speed & Efficiency
The Dirt Devil Endura Reach Upright takes a hit to efficiency when it’s introduced to a medium or large-sized home. It’s most at home in a small house or apartment, no pun intended; otherwise, its suction power and small dirt cup become obvious. You can also get 10 feet of extra cleaning reach thanks to the crevice tool and extension pieces.
Bin Capacity & Maintenance
For a large vacuum, having a dust bin that only handles 1.5L of dirt and debris isn’t that great, especially compared to the Oreck Magnesium. Despite being primarily constructed from plastic, the Dirt Devil Endura Reach has very few parts jutting out from the vacuum. This means there’s less chance of you accidentally breaking a piece off. It’s also incredibly lightweight, only just 9 lbs, and has a long 20-ft power cord, so it’s easy to handle.
Value
Similar to the Bissell CleanView upright bagless 2252, the Dirt Devil Endura Reach is better used in a small home. There’s a feature it has that helps it triumph over the others: its bagless design. Yes, you will have to maintain it by cleaning out the canister once in a while, but you’ll never have to buy a bag again. That means you drop $60 on the vacuum and that’s it, unlike the Kenmore upright vacuum.
