Overview_

The Endgame Gear XM1 is a mid-range wired gaming mouse that was first brought to the market back in mid-2020, and it boasts an ambidextrous shape with an ergonomic design for a comfortable gaming experience. Just like some of the best computer mouse options out today, this model features a low input latency of 10 ms over USB. And similar to the best-rated gaming mouse models, the Endgame XM1 features an adjustable 16000 DPI sensor along with a 75 inches long flexible cable for wired connectivity. But it doesn’t have RGB lighting.

If you need manually programmable RGB lighting, then make sure to take a look at our Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE review. The 72-gram Endgame Gear XM1 gaming mouse features six different programmable buttons along with a notched 24-step scroll wheel for vertical scrolling. But if you prefer wireless mice, check out our Corsair SABRE RGB PRO WIRELESS review.

The newer Endgame Gear XM1r is a newer and refreshed variant of the original Endgame Gear XM1 wired gaming mouse, and they both feature a similar-looking ambidextrous design. But the Endgame Gear XM1r is an RGB mouse, and it features customizable RGB lighting, which the original Endgame Gear XM1 lacks. And the newer Endgame Gear XM1r gaming mouse features a significantly better 19000 DPI optical sensor compared to the older Endgame Gear XM1 model’s 16000 DPI optical sensor.

While the Endgame Gear XM1 features a 16000 DPI optical sensor, the GLORIOUS Model O gaming mouse only comes with a 12000 DPI sensor. And the Endgame Gear XM1 mouse features a significantly more premium and more durable overall build quality compared to the GLORIOUS Model O. However, the Model O does have RGB lighting, unlike the Endgame Gear XM1. And the Model O has six programmable buttons out of the box, whereas you need to update the Endgame XM1’s firmware for button binding.

Unlike the Endgame Gear XM1, the Logitech G Pro Wireless, as the name suggests, supports wireless connectivity using a USB receiver. And the Logitech G Hub companion software is fully compatible with macOS devices, but the XM1 Config Software is not. In addition, the Logitech G Pro Wireless features a significantly more comfortable shape than the Endgame Gear XM1. The Logitech G Pro Wireless also sports a much better HERO 25K 25600 DPI sensor compared to the Endgame Gear unit’s 16000 DPI sensor.

I am an almost 10-year Razer Naga user, from the original Razer Naga to the Epic Chroma, to Trinity and finally Naga Pro.I get used to the layout when it first came out, it has such a unique design, which is optimized for MMO players. I can not get back to anything else after being extreme user of its side buttons. The Pro is easily the best Naga ever, it fixed the reliability issue for Trinity, greatly improved battery life from the old Epic Chroma…
