The Campark Native 4K WiFi Sports Action Camera is one of many new budget sports cameras on the market. Its biggest plus is that it shoots in 4K at 30fps, which makes for gorgeous adventuring videos. It also connects to wifi and has a smartphone app so you can share videos and pictures with your friends. Compare it to the other products on our Best Action Camera buyer’s guide.

Why We Like It – Campark X25 Native 4K WiFi Sports Action Camera

For a great budget action cam, you’ll definitely want to check out the Campark X25 Native 4K WiFi Sports Action Camera. For $50, you can shoot in 4K at 30 frames per second, so it’s definitely a great cheap action camera for those on a tight budget. For those looking for a binocular camera, the Camonity 5M 2″ LCD 16GB is our number one recommendation.

Pros
  • Includes camera features like built-in wifi, time lapse, burst photo, loop recording
  • Only 3 buttons; easy-to-learn
  • Portable size
Cons
  • Does not have Electronic Images Stabilization, which severely limits your shots
  • Short battery life
  • No touch screen & no external mic

Performance

The Campark X25 Action Camera shoots in gorgeous HD video. With modes like time lapse loop and burst photo, you can definitely get creative with your shots. The camera comes with two batteries that are rechargeable, and it can also connect to wi fi for easy sharing to social media. It can take wide angle shots of up to 170 degrees. The biggest downside is that the Campark doesn’t include Electronic Image Stabilization like most other action cameras. That means every bump, shake, and jump will negatively impact your final video. Amazon reviews also note that the battery life is not the greatest. But with such great video quality and image quality (in ultra HD), the pros might outweigh the cons.

Design

The Campark X25 is a good quality, very durable and waterproof up to 30 meters deep. Amazon reviews were impressed with the construction of the waterproof case. Most of Campark’s accessories are compatible with the GoPro HERO 7 Black Action Camera. The still image resolution is 16 megapixels, which is about average among other sports cameras, and there are many intervals to choose from for video recording time. However, it does not have a touch screen display, unlike most other action cameras. The lack of these features means it’s not as high quality as many other action cams on the market.

Related: For many great features like full HD video recording you need the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera.

Value

The Campark action cam is comparable to other budget cameras, like the AKASO EK7000 Pro Action Camera. It comes with several accessories like a helmet mount, bike mount, USB charging cable, and two rechargeable batteries, but it does not come with a wireless remote control for hands-free recording, unlike many other action cams on the market. However, if you’re looking for an action camera ultra HD, then you might find this a cheap alternative to GoPro.

Campark X25 Native 4K WiFi Sports Action Camera Wrap Up

The Campark X25 is comparable in price to the Dragon Touch 4K Action Camera and other budget cams. It’s a good camera at a decent price, but make sure you research other cams before making this purchase. There are many downsides, but you still can’t go wrong with a sports camera that shoots in 4K at 30fps for only $50.
