Performance
The way the Peak design everyday bag is designed shows that a lot of thought went into providing both convenience and ease of access. The main compartment for instance is locked into place through a patent-pending Maglatch closure” system that relies on the use of a magnetic clasp and 4 ladder lock points to lock the bag even with one hand – a step ahead of the kenneth cole reaction colombian leather laptop bag’s zipper system. Inside, you’ll find flexfold dividers that should help you properly pack your lenses and camera gear, and if you don’t want to flip the flap open, you can use the top zip to reach into it and pull out what you need. Carrying the messenger bag shouldn’t be a big problem especially because its shoulder strap comes with two inches of interior padding, making the bag’s weight a lot easier on your shoulder. Design
Unlike the amazonbasics laptop bag there’s three colorways that you can get the Peak everyday messenger bag in. These are Tan, Charcoal and Ash. Most people go for either Charcoal or Ash, but whichever color you get it in, the bag still looks a lot better than a lot of other messenger bags in the same price range. The bag also comes with a weatherproof waxed Kodra shell to keep your gear dry against the rain, and two side pockets where you can pack your phone or keys for quick access. It’s shoulder strap is easy to lengthen or shorten thanks to its quick release latch, and unlike other camera bags, its laptop compartment/laptop sleeve is separate from the main compartment where most of the camera gear goes. Value
The Peak Design Everyday messenger bag comes in two sizes. There’s the larger 15-inch variant, and the smaller 13-inch. The only difference between the two is that the larger one comes with 3 flexfold dividers compared to the smaller one that only comes with two. You won’t get any dividers with the sunny snowy nylon laptop bag, but then again, it really isn’t meant for carrying cameras. Otherwise, the two Peak Design bags are identical, though they do have a price difference of almost $100.
