Type, Lens, Size & Weight
The FOV is about 80-degrees, which is somewhat narrow, though comfortably fits one or maybe two people. It is quite portable, however. It only weighs 10.6 ounces, with dimensions of 3.66 x 5.08 x 1.06-inches. You could fit the Razer Kiyo Webcam in your pocket and forget about it.
Resolution & Display
While it doesn’t run 4K like the Logitech Brio, it’s definitely one of the better looking webcams available. The Razer Kiyo Webcam shoots in 1080p at 30 frames per second. That’s perfect for any application. Bad bandwidth in your area? No worries! It can drop to 720p at 60fps. What’s most impressive is its lighting performance. It really makes the most of natural lighting, with a built-in ring light to help banish any bad shadows.
Tripod & Image Stability
The base could be better. It rests on top of monitors and laptop screens, but any jerky motions against your desk might dislodge it. If that sounds like an issue, the Logitech C922X supports tripods.

Optical Zoom, Microphone, Audio & Storage
There aren’t any on-board buttons for zoom or internal storage, but it can digitally zoom depending on the software you’re using (like OBS). That’s excusable, but its basic microphone is not. Sound quality is fine, but fails to pick up audio if you aren’t close enough. External mics are always better.
Value
Is the Razer Kiyo Webcam worth it? Compared to the Logitech 930E, you’re definitely getting a better deal here. While the 930E does well in low-light settings, it’s hard to pass on the Kiyo’s ring light. It saves so much money not having to invest in any external lighting. In fact, the price difference between the two—almost $40—could be used to buy a headset with a good microphone.

The Razer Kiyo Webcam is one of those more exceptional budget options that manages to cover multiple needs at a fair price. Unfortunately, the microphone is the one feature that suffers.
